Tailored Training

David Doran, Hotbed Network Manager,

The Hotbed Skillnet Initiative focusses on tailored training for Entrepreneurs and Owner/Managers.

The Hotbed Skillnet is a training initiative funded by Skillnets and member companies and is a vibrant thriving network of small enterprises comprised primarily of young developing companies whose training efforts are focussed on equipping entrepreneurs and owner/managed businesses with the necessary skills to build their management capacity.

Members of the Hotbed Skillnet are usually at an early stage of development or have reached a stage where their forward momentum has slowed.

Membership is highly diverse, with a range of technical and non-technical companies offering both products and services on local and international markets.

Tailored Services

By joining forces, members of the Hotbed Skillnet increase their buying power, reduce training costs and subsequently access forms of training that might otherwise have been too expensive or too specialised for one company to access. Skillnets differs from other networks as its services are tailored to member companies. It is not a 'one-size fits all' approach.

David Doran, Hotbed Skillnet, Network Manager commented, "with only 16 places available on this years intake, the Hotbed Skillnet members are assured of tailored training, specific to their individual and collective needs."
